Introduction
In a world, where there is ubiquitous darkness, we are commencing to burn a candle that would scatter their light, till it overwhelms the world. The point, where we would initiate, is Karnataka. with a memo that the planet is still fresh and precious, while the endpoint will be another side of the earth.
A widespread area of native ecosystems has been cleared and converted to other land uses, such as agriculture, and cities, a tendency that will continue with increase human populations. Woodland area is estimated to have decreased by a third over the past three years in Asia. Wild animals weep for the demolition of their shelters, and the atmosphere weeps due to the loss of their nearest colleague, the trees. The ambition they wish is our effort, and we are here for it.
Land of Karnataka, an overview:-
Karnataka is the largest state in south India and the sixth-largest in India. The State wraps an area of 191,976 square kilometers, 74,122 Square Miles, or 5.83% of the total geographic area of Indian. With 61,130,704 inhabitants to the 2011 census, Karnataka is the eighth largest state by population, embodying 31 districts.
The economy of Karnataka is the sixth-largest of any Indian state with us $ 230 billion in gross domestic product and a per capita GDP of US $3,200. In Human Development Index, Karnataka has the nineteenth tallest scale among the Indian States. The economy is primarily pendant upon husbandry and commerce. Among rice, sunflower, Coconut, grape, and capsicum are some major are the main crops risen in the territory. On the other hand, Baharat Electronic Limited, HMT, and BHEL are some of the important industries of Karnataka.
The state has three geographical zones: the coastal region of Karavali and Tulu Nadu, the hilly Malenadu region comprising the western Ghats, and the Bayaluseeme region comprising the plains of the Deccan plateau. The bulk of the State is in the Bayaluseeme region, the northern part of which is the second- largest arid region in India. The highest point is the Mullayanagiri hill in Chikmagalur district which has an altitude of 1,925 meters.
The climate of Karnataka experience four seasons: The winter in January and February is followed by summer between March and May the monsoon season between June and September and the post- monsoon season from October till December. Meteorologically, Karnataka is divided into three zones: coastal, north interior, and south interior. Of these, the coastal zone receives the heaviest rainfall with a normal rainfall of about 3,638.5 mm per annum, far over the State average of 1,139 mm.
The recorded forest area of Karnataka is 43,356.47 sq. Km, as per the annual report of the State’s Forest Department for the year 2014-15. It is about 22.61% of the state’s geographical area. It accounts for around 6 18% of India’s total forest area of 701,673 sq. Km. The percentage of Karnataka’s forest area in comparison to its geographical area is slightly lower than the all-India average of around 23%. It needs strict measures. The percentage recommended by the National Forest Policy is 33%.
Deforestation in Karnataka:-
From 2002 to 2020, Karnataka lost 4.93kha of moist primary jungles, making up 12% of its total tree cover loss in the same period. The total area of humid primary forests in Karnataka decreased by 0 50% in this period. From 2001 to 2020, Karnataka lost 43.6kha of tree cover, equivalent to a 1.9% decrease in tree cover since 2000, and 23.3Mt of CO2e emissions.
In Karnataka, the top 3 regions were responsible for 58% of all tree cover loss between 2001 and 2018. Dakshina kannada had the most tree face loss at 9.56kha described as an average of 1.43kha. Others include kodagu and Uttara Kannada.
In Karnataka, 27kha of land has burned so far in 2021. This total is normal compared to the entire prior years going back to 2001. The most fires recorded in a year was 2021, with 64kha. There were 321 GLAD alerts reported in Karnataka between the 6th of September 2021 and the 13th of September 2021, of which none were high confidence alerts. Similarly, there were 18 VIIRS fire alerts recorded in Karnataka between the 8th of September 2021, of which none as highly confident.
All we have missed was enough and there is no room for supplementary damage. We have put up with the step to cut back all these warnings on the environment is confronting.
About PFWCK
PFWCK is a national-governmental organization (NGO). Its services include:

- Realization of the fact that preservation of plant and animals species is our God-given responsibility. It includes seminars, awareness programs, and energizing community.
- Manifestation of the importance of wildlife and
- Motivation for the incoming generation, students, to be aware of the primacy of wildlife.
Goals
Our mission is to plant trees, and to provide shelters for homeless wildlife species because they depend on forests for their survival. This will leads us to accomplish the maintenance of health and stability of the ecosystem which is a big victory. Balance wildlife will also provide a continued balance in our human existence.
Moreover, the trees filter the water we use, control floods, and reduce air conditioning costs. Forest helps compensate for the environmental vehicles. It will give you a robust existence and will bestow your achievement. The carelessness of people is a threat signal for the planet.
Awareness in people is quite necessary because the environment is in server danger if it loses the aforementioned qualities. Hence, awareness of people is our topmost priority. Actualization of the consequence of planting trees is one of our obligations. The people of Karnataka will itself be a message for the whole world.
Need of the project
Animals crying, Nature is dying, When will it stop, When the last Three drops?
When have faced enough loss, and now we are trying to re-establish what we have lost. Now it’s time to think about what we are doing. The importance of this project is to recreate our lost hopes and withstand the wildlife and trees. We have treated the environment very badly, and, now, the condition is very miserable.
The step taken will be the step to recreate a fresh environment in Karnataka and motivate the world with a message that though inventions and discoveries are essential, the loss environment is facing is fatal.
POLICIES:-
We are hiring the workforce for specific purposes. Hired people will carry out the following tasks.
1) They will plant one million trees in every district of Karnataka, and they will provide safeguards around trees as a defense. Our organization will provide five years of protection to it. It includes safety, watering surveillance, and especially in drought season providing water to plants. Hence, the trees will result in the attraction of wildlife towards itself, and the production of a fresh balance environment.
2) In the education sector, we will arrange an essay competition between the students, and for this purpose, we will hire teachers to carry these activities out. After the initial competition, we will select the champions and educate them for the decisive competition. In the final competition, we will organize an award distribution ceremony for the victor. We will reserve a stadium on this basis. We will invite all the nobilities from the districts of the State including politicians and officers.
3) Seminars to build motivation of the people and to show them the importance of recreational activities.
4) The project expenditure is $250,000. Money will be spent to defend the future of Karnataka.
