The People for Forest and Wildlife Conservation of India (PFWCI) is a dedicated national organization committed to the preservation of India's rich wildlife and nature. Rooted in community care and protection, we unite frontline forest guards, wildlife veterinarians, and local tribal communities across 28 states to protect endangered species, mitigate human-wildlife conflict, prevent forest fires, and restore ancient forest corridors.

Western Ghats Canopy Restoration
The Western Ghats house India's most delicate ecosystems. Our teams plant native evergreen species on the ground to rebuild continuous wildlife migration corridors.
Miyawaki Method Native Forests
Creating dense, multi-layered native micro-forests using locally adapted species to rapidly restore degraded ecosystems and achieve self-sustainability within three years.
Bidar Blackbuck Grassland Restoration
Restoring critical grassland habitats in Bidar to protect Blackbuck and other grassland-dependent species through habitat restoration, community engagement, scientific monitoring, and threat mitigation.
Himalayan Wildfire Prevention Program
As summers grow hotter, forest fires threaten vulnerable wildlife. We partner with local villagers to clear dry leaves, build safety firebreaks, and protect habitats.
Community Seedball Initiative
Barren lands bloom again. Through our seedball program, local women roll clay, compost, and native seeds into spheres that sprout with rain to repair ecosystems.
