Ongoing Conservation Efforts by the People for Forest and Wildlife Conservation of Karnataka (PFWCK)
We, as PFWCK
We are committed to continuously developing projects, initiating activities, and organizing educational camps for youth and tribes on the conservation of wild life along with below listed ongoing activities in the state of Karnataka in protective areas such as national parks and wildlife sanctuaries to protect the animals in their natural habitat.
PFWCK is one of the leading wildlife NGOs in India, having selected a specific state of Karnataka, and is at the forefront of combating poaching and the illegal wildlife trade, particularly concerning wild tigers. PFWCK collaborates with governmental authorities, forest departments, and the tribal community by providing vital support and information.
The sole motto of PFWCK is
“Climate change and a drop in the world’s biodiversity make it essential that we conserve more of nature faster than ever, and so we’re speeding up our work. But sometimes, to go faster, we must also go slowly (or at least deliberately). We need to ensure that our conservation efforts not only protect nature and wild life now but keep them protected throughout the years.
